The Corporation 1 to 3

I am watching a series called "The Corporation"
http://www.truththeory.org/the-corporation/

part 2 beginning

Basically tells us that it's the corporation, which rules current world, and it's roots have been placed in last century - in the industrial age, when we decided to ramp up effectiveness, and when lawyers of early corporations decided - that they need more powers!

14'th amendment was agreed - to protect the rights of people, yet the lawyers of corporations seeing this said - oh great - then corporation is a PERSON! so it's rights must be protected!

And under this 14'th act during the next 30 years over 300 cases were brought to court - only 14 (or so) of them - by african -american's and the rest by corporations!

Part 3 Corporation - "A legal person"
When in-corporating - you create a legal person, which/who can buy property, sue someone, ... pamirsau isvarau i gmn, o veliau namo ir i joga...

Back from Joga.

So inc'orporated entity can:
- Buy/Sell property, other corporation
- Sue someone or be sued
- Borrow money
- can do business

So knowing that corporation is a person, a kind of a natural questions arises :
- What kind of person is Corporation?

Answering:
-  a corporation is a person, a special kind of a person, which can never die for example. Also this special kind of a person is extremely selfish, doing only what's in it's shareholders agenda, and not what's in it's stakeholders agenda (community, labor force)
- the great problem of having a corporate citizens - is that they are not like the rest of US, as some would say they have no soul to save and no body to incarcerate.
- people tend to think of corporations as these entities who have face... youthful, energetic, deceptive, good looking, friendly, warm, bla bla bla bla ... yet they have only one thing - BOTTOM LINE, which means - how to make as much money as possible, using any means as they can (pretending to be aggressive, friendly, stupid, smart etc.. )

Let's not forget that a corporation is legally bound to put the bottom line above everything else, even if it has other values and wishes, bottom line is what it counts, especially if its a public corporation..

To be Continued...
